Travel to see the amazing temples in Vientiane, Laos

Wow

The Inpeng Temple in Vientiane was amazing - the colours and location were superb.  A stones throw from the banks of the mighty Mekong river.  The capital city of Laos is Vientiane, but a real step back in time - a sleepy little city where the people are so friendly, the food is amazing and accommodation is first class ... and all on a budget :-)

From Tazmania, I headed to New Zealand - again to meet with friends.  I had so much fun in the 'City of Sails' (Auckland) and touring around at my leisure to all the amazing places.  There is so much to see and do!

In Tazmania, I was a little devil :-)

Tazmania was a great experience for me - very relaxing and such a slow pace of life compared to what I am used to in my very busy life in Dubai.

Friends are always great for making you relax, I think.  Do you like to relax with long lost friends?  I realise now that it is possible to travel anywhere on a budget.  You just have to be passionate about what you want and make it happen!

Tazmania on a Budget

Last time I brought you images of Melbourne.  From there I flew to Tazmania to meet another friend.  She had also lived in my home town in Swansea, South Wales.  We kept in touch via email and I always wanted to go and visit her.

Tazmania is so similar in climate to where we had lived as children, which is why my friend had settled there.  Do you ever wish you could find places like that?  Places that you feel connected to in some way?  When I travel, I always find something that jogs my memory about something in my past - that is one of the things I love about travelling.
